St. Eugene's Orthodox Youth Camp July 1 - 7, 2012

Families, please remember to fill out the applications for St. Eugene’s Camp this summer.  You can find the forms at the bottom of this page.

We do need counselors and staff so if there are any adults interested please fill out the staff forms and speak to me.

If anyone knows of other families that would like to participate in the camp, please forward this on to them.

Cost for camp this year is $385.00 ($335 + $50 registration) per camper with discounts for siblings (see application for details).  You must submit at least the $50 non-refundable deposit with your application.  On the application you will also notice that we have payment plan to ease the burden on families. You can make payments toward your child’s tuition from now until the beginning of camp.  Also, remember camp fees are tax deductible under childcare. On your tax return you can include St. Eugene’s Camp (#95-4705483).  If anyone is in need of a scholarship and has not been able to obtain one from his or her parish, please feel free to contact me or Kathy Pieracci at the information listed on the form.  Late fees will be charged for any applications postmarked after June 8th.  Remember that you can register your child with a deposit, and then pay off the balance from now until they arrive at camp.

Also, WE NEED COMMITTED AND TALENTED ADULTS TO HELP AS CAMP COUNSELORS AND STAFF.  We are especially in need of a cabin counselors.  Please consider giving the gift of your time to the youth of our Church in this important ministry and encourage others to do so, as well.  Having the chance to develop healthy relationships with committed and faithful adults is often a key element in helping youth remain in their faith.

If you are interested in serving as a camp staff member, please contact Fr. Michael. We need the completed staff application form by June 1st so we can process the forms, run background checks, make assignments, etc.  Please note that all staff must have their application approved by their parish priest or spiritual father. [Staff and counselors who filled out forms in previous years and have not changed any information may fill out the abbreviated “Returning Staff” 2-page form instead. The form will be kept with your completed forms from previous years.]
